A Day Without TV and Radio
|
Sometimes it seems like all I really hear is the word politics. Of course, the word politics is really very important. Because you really hear the word politics every day, everywhere, on TV, on the radio, and of course from people you meet on the street. People are talking about everything, and it doesn\’t matter how different the topics are. But what I often hear is that those people are really talking about politics, about what they hear on the radio, what they hear on TV. That\’s normal. I think it\’s really depressing when it\’s so over-the-top and they keep going on and on and on about it.
Of course I understand that politics is a very important word. But if we really just listened to the word politics and dealt with it every day, we really wouldn\’t be able to do anything else. We wouldn\’t be able to take care of our children, we wouldn\’t be able to live a dignified life. We would not be able to take care of our children, we would not be able to live a dignified life, because we would always be nervous about the word politics. Why don\’t you think about not worrying about the word politics sometimes? Really, sometimes you just need to forget about it and really enjoy your own day.
Try having a day without TV or radio. Believe that if you do that, you will hear nothing of what is happening around you, what has happened, what is going on in politics. And believe that you will enjoy the day more than if you still hear something going on. Of course I\’m not saying to do it every day. But believe that if you give yourself a break once or twice a month, without turning on the TV or the radio or going out somewhere, it really has a huge effect, and you forget about what\’s going on around you for a while.
